Bus Hanoi - Ha Giang

Nowaday, the road quality from Hanoi to Ha Giang is better, and it is very easy to travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang by bus.

HOW TO GET TO HA GIANG ?

Because Ha Giang is a mountainous province with poor infrastructure, it’s quite difficult to get there. The only 2 ways to reach Ha Giang is by bus or motorbike. Normally, it takes about 7 hours to drive from Ha Noi to Ha Giang City. For foreign tourists, it’s very difficult to have an independent travelling by motorbike from Hanoi to Ha Giang. You can hire a car with a driver and a guide or get a taxi from Hanoi. These ways are quite expensive. Or you can take a bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang. After taking a bus up to Ha Giang, you can hire motorbikes or scooters  to take around and to stop at popular destinations.

TRAVEL TIPS:

- You should carry valuable things with you, incase your bags are picked up by other people by chance or by purpose.
- Remembering plate number of the bus is always good incase you forget something on bus, we can find it quick & easy.
- Before leaving the bus, you should check your belongings again and again incase it is picked up by other passangers on bus before we find out

- The best time to visit Ha Giang is in May, June and August, September to see wonderful view of rice terraces. You also can visit Ha Giang in October, because this time is the season of flower call “ Tam Giac Mach”, special during “Tam Giac Mach” flower festival.

- From Ha Giang, you can take the local bus to go to Sapa.

- Please note that, if  you stay overnight at hotel in Ha Giang,you will be surcharged the extra 10us$ for the overnight permittion in the near border area.
